We have been
looking at portraits painted by Matisse. We have looked at his use of
proportion, size, strong lines, colour and patterns. These are examples
of our first work - portraits of our classmates. We have built upon this work
by comparing our use of pattern and colour with that of Matisse. The
children worked today with vivid and crayon to draw a self-portrait. Come
in and have a look at their developing skills. Next we will experiment
