Girls Football Week
This morning all the Year 3/4 girls took part in the Mainland Football Girls Football Week. The girls had a fantastic time playing mini football (soccer) games and learning some new skills. They even got to meet Annalie Longo (who plays midfielder for the New Zealand Football Ferns) and get her autograph.
Soccer
Last week Room 2 had a game of class soccer. We had sooooooo much fun. All the kids took turns kicking the ball and throwing it in when someone from the other team kicked it out. We had a blast.
Elgregoe comes to Oaklands
Elgregoe came to visit us at Oaklands yesterday. He did lots of magic tricks and shared some important values with us.
We loved the magic show and one of the kids from our class got to go on stage and help out. She got a free iPad. Well not really! It was actually a notepad with eyes on it. Hehehehehe :)
